If there were two words that could describe Raine, they’d be compassion and loyalty. Compassion for the times when she felt for her friends and other people, when they had trouble or any kind of conflicts. Raine's thought process is always simple; they are my friends. Their pain is my pain. We are the same people. Loyalty for when her friends deceived her, or when they needed her. Raine always remained loyal to her friends and others, it's just how she was.
Another trait of Raine is that she is very stubborn. Not in the sense that she thinks that she is always right, but rather, once Raine says something, she sticks by it. She does not easily admit to her wrong doings, merely for that fact that she does not believe she is wrong. Raine has a much stranger way of looking at things, so people frequently think she’s too stubborn to consider someone else’s ideas. If there is someone in trouble or in need of help, Raine is usually the first one to try and help out. However, because of her need to help others, there are times Raine doesn't think about the consenquences.
Raine is kind and gentle, outwardly always smiling and happy. Inwardly, she has many conflicts with herself over a lot of things. . She is often considered the “big/little sister” of the Guild.
Her friends come before anything and everything else in her life.

"I remember a lot of things back then...we didn't have much but we were happy."
As a child, Raine Fleur lived with her father, mother, and older brother in the quiet yet peaceful Tully Village. While her father often left to work with a group of traveling merchants, Raine remained at home with her mother and brother. Life wasn't easy and there wasn't a lot of money but they were content with what they had. Even as a young child, Raine's uplifting and caring personality could be seen. Whenever someone in the village needed help such as housework or working in the gardens, Raine wouldn't think twice about offering to help. If someone was in need of being comforted, she was there.
It was just the way Raine was.
However, some villagers begun to spectulate that the reason behind Raine's eagerness to help others. They believed that she wanted to be kept busy so she didn't have to think about her father who was away. Many villagers begun to sympathize with Raine and treat her different from the other children in the village. At first, Raine didn't notice it yet overtime it became more obvious as her offering to help kept on being turned down. Since she was at a young age, Raine didn't completely understand the situation, however her mother would just smile and pat her over the head comfortingly without saying a word.
Seasons changed with no sign or word of Raine's father. Rumors begun to spread throughout the village as people turned their backs on the Fleur family. While Raine's brother often got into fights with other kids; eight-year old Raine found it difficult to make friends since rumors started to go around town. However, there were two children that were expections - Altair and Caterina. They were different; they weren't like the other kids in the village. When she was with them, Raine felt the most at ease and often helped take her mind off her missing father...
Until one fateful rainy day. The storm clouds were darker than usual; ominous and mencing. Taking shelter from the weather, Raine noticed a large group of villagers had gathered near the entrance of the village. Part of her didn't want to go yet because she was a child, curiosity got the best of her.
It was the body of her father who had been missing.
Frozen in place, Raine didn't flinch or look away. As word spread throughout the town, eventually Raine's mother and brother arrived to the scene. She would never forget the look on her mother's face. That day in the rain, Raine's life changed dramatically. In the following months, Raine's mother became gravely ill and often isolated herself from everyone else including her children. There was a saying about two birds - when one dies the other one cannot exist without the other. Such is the case of Raine's mother. As time passed by, Raine's mother's heath deteriated to the point where no medicine could 'cure' her. On her deathbed surrounded by her children, Raine's mother reassured them that everything would be alright and then...she was gone.
After the passing of their mother, Raine and her brother continued to live in their old house. Although both their mother and father were deceased, they found comfort by staying inside the house that held so many memories. It was also by the support of her friends that Raine was able to find the strength to continue on. As time passed, Raine begun to notice a change in her brother. He seemed convinced that the death of their father was no accident and was determined to figure out the truth. After following several leads, Raine's brother decided it was time to leave the village and go search for the person behind the conspiracy. Raine pleaded for her brother not to leave however it was clear that there was nothing she could do to convince him to stay and she bid her brother goodbye as he left one day in spring. Silently, Raine vowed to become a stronger person when her brother would return someday.
A few months later, Raine joined Altair and Caterina in training to learn magic, and learned a very rare type of magic known as Ex-Quipping. This was very strange, away from what Caterina and Altair used, which were just basic buffer magic skills. Not basic, by any means, as magic was rather hard to learn.
Over the next several years, they trained in how to fight and use their magic, as a good, tight-knit group. And recently, Caterina applied for them to become an official guild, which she named, Oracle Phoenix, with her as the leader and Altair and Raine as members. Although Raine never recieved a single letter from her brother, she remained convinced that he was very much alive and was continuing the search for answers to their father's death.
