Loyal, strong, and caring, is a good way to describe Altair. He is loyal to his friends, strong in his convictions, and cares about the little people, the ones who get stepped on or pushed aside. During his life, he has been one of those people, and now that he can do something about it, he stands up for those people without hesitation.
This has made him into somewhat of a vigilante, though. If someone, he knows has done a great wrong, gets away with it, he'll take matters into his own hands, to fix the wrongs.

History:
Altair was born 17 years ago, to a very impoverished family, in Tully Village. It was a tough life, but they got by, on the little they had, until a corrupt official came into the village, and took several of the strong men (including Altair's father) for his personal army. He tried to rise up against another official, but was eventually annihilated, along with his personal army.
This left Altair's mother in despair, after she found out about it. She had already been weak, to illness, and this made her sicker. Not long after, she died, leaving Altair alone, when he was nine. It was around this time, that he meant Caterina, a girl who was a year older than him, who was already fighting on her own, with a sword, and protecting the weak and impoverished of the village, when they were attacked.
It was the same day day, that he met another young girl, a year younger than him, being attacked. A large crowd had gathered, where a corrupt knight had tried to hurt the younger girl, Raine Fleur. Caterina blocked a whip strike, with her left hand and held a wooden sword with her right hand. "Leave her alone! If you want to fight someone, I'll take you on!"
Walking towards it, after pushing through the crowd, Altair leaned over and helped the younger girl up. "Hey, are you good with a sword?" The girl, Caterina said, looking at him.
"Can't say. Never used one." Caterina broke out of the whip and slid back, handing her wooden sword to him. "I can use magic, so I don't need it. But I can't handle him alone." She smiled at him. "You want to protect others like her right? Well, now is your chance to show that."
Once he got Raine up, he took the wooden sword and after listening to her commands, they took him out with their teamwork, which surprised a bunch of the villagers, as they were mere kids. It wasn't long after this, that he became friends with them. He learned of their pains and struggles, and helped them overcome it.
During this time, him and Caterina became very close, before one fateful rainy day. She taught him how to use magic, and how to fight with a sword, and he learned that she had a similar past to him, in that her father was taken too. And that main was getting pulled by the strings of some dark guild, whose name, Caterina was trying to find.
Also, during this time, even though they were just children, it was rare to see Caterina without Altair or Altair without Caterina, even when Raine was gone. They were practically always together, and several people believed that they might grow up to be married. Of course, this hasn't really translated to anything, as of yet, but who knows what the future might hold?
After a fateful day, a few months after this, Raine joined them in training to learn magic, and learned a very rare type of magic known as Ex-Quipping. This was very strange, away from what Caterina and Altair used, which were just basic buffer magic skills. Not basic, by any means, as magic was rather hard to learn.
Over the next several years, they trained in how to fight and use their magic, as a good, tight-knit group. And recently, Caterina applied for them to become an official guild, which she named, Oracle Phoenix, with her as the leader and Altair and Raine as members. Recently, they got the title of it, but can't really do much as they are far too small. They still need a few more members, and some more money to build a bigger guild building, but once that happens, they will start getting Mage Council's missions, and classifications. Until that point though, the only thing that they are recognized by the Mage's Council for is having a guild symbol and their leader as Caterina.
In the last year, since she applied for their guild-ship, Altair and Raine and even Caterina, have done a few missions locally, in hopes of growing into a bigger guild. However, secretly, from Caterina and Raine, Altair has taken it upon himself to punish anyone who has done wrong, that got away with it. This has only been one person, a thief who got an innocent man arrested for his crimes. After a very...gentle visit from Altair, the man came forward and freed the man who was arrested, but it's something he's going to do on his own, in order to find the people responsible for his parent's deaths.
So now, with that objective in mind, and his years of training magic, and swordsmanship, he is ready to do many missions and get their guild to new heights and to find the guild responsible behind his parent's death.

Wolf Fury
A flurry of five-sword slashes, at varying speeds, that are boosted by wind, as they hit or cut.
Wolf Charge
A thrust skill, that is sped-up by a heavy kick-off the ground, as he rushes towards his opponent. Wind is used, around his legs, that allow him to launch forward at an unusually fast speed.
